Drama comedy writer Amy Herzog explores the funny, frustrating and life-changing relationship between a grandson who is learning to face his life, and a grandmother who is starting to forget hers.
Meet the 21-year-old Leo Joseph-Connell, who after having broken up with his girlfriend, shows up unannounced at the Manhattan apartment of his acerbic, 91-year-old Jewish grandmother Vera Joseph, for a place to crash. The worried grandmother naturally won’t let him off that easily. Allow this 90-minute brilliant exchanges between Leo and Vera enlighten you and warm your hearts.
