Spend a thrilling weekend in Noosa when the Noosa Summer Swim returns in February! Presented by World Series Swims, this exciting annual event invites keen swimmers of all capabilities to take part in a variety of ocean swim distances. As with each year, the festival will bring an incredible atmosphere to Noosa Heads on the Sunshine Coast, and with Noosa’s stunning tropical backdrop, there isn’t a better reason to head to the beach and get swimming.
Taking place near our Noosa holiday accommodation, the Noosa Summer Swim is a must-attend for swimming fanatics and ocean-lovers. Over two whole days, the festival will host a wide range of swimming events, which can be taken up by both Olympic and casual swimmers of all ages.
On the first day, the Noosa 3.0, Noosa 2.0, Noosa 1.0 and Junior Giants events will kickstart the event in full gear. The Noosa 3.0, Noosa 2.0 and Noosa 1.0 - comprising of 3km, 2km and 1km distances - will take its participants from Noosa Main Beach to Noosa National Park, while the Junior Giants will offer kids aged 8-16 the chance to compete in a 300m Junior Dash and a 1000m Junior Long Course.
On the second day, the big 5.0km Noosa Grand Prix will push 200 elite swimmers to their limit. There’ll also be the 1.5km Social Swim which will offer a casual ocean swim experience for those looking to beat a personal record.
On each day of the Noosa Summer Swim, there’ll be prizes and awards for the 300m Junior Giants, 1000m Junior Giants, Noosa 1.0, Noosa 2.0, Noosa 3.0 and the 5.0km Grand Prix.
