Enjoy the fun water sport action at the Noosa Summer Swim

Boasting its rich and long history of hosting the most exciting sporting events, the Sunshine Coast is again proud to be home to one of the most exciting and anticipated water sport competitions in the country—the Noosa Summer Swim 2015.

Be there at the Noosa Surf Lifesaving Club in Noosa Heads on 31 January as the Noosa Summer Swim will again bring together the finest swimmers from across Australia to battle it out for exciting cash prizes and the opportunity to compete for the overall Noosa Summer Swim Championship.

The Noosa Summer Swim will showcase an adrenaline-charged and exceptional sporting action. It is the newest addition to the Milk & Co Queensland Ocean Swim Series and it will surely be the highlight of your summer.

Not only athletes and competitors will enjoy but everyone is welcome to experience the thrill and fun happening throughout this event. The Noosa Summer Swim will present a wide range of exhilarating competitions and events including a variety of famous ocean swimming distances, 2km and 1km, together with a 300m Nippers Surf Dash.

The main event of the Noosa Summer Swim, the Noosa 2.0km will gather some of the finest pool and open water swimmers from all over Australia for a test of agility, strength and skills.

If you’re not yet ready for the tougher battle, then the Noosa 1.0km short course event is where you can experience a great start. This event starts and ends in the same location as the 2.0km.

A fun event for kids, the 300m Kids Dash is the perfect opportunity for the little ones to get involved in the open water swimming. Kids competing for this event will also feel the thrill of a beach sprint finish.

The Noosa Summer Swim also features an exciting and awesome Teams Relay format in which a team of three will battle it out against celebrities and multisport athletes from around Australia.

Elite prize money is awaiting to those who will win at every event in the 2015 Series so get yourself all geared up as you compete in both the long course and short course to bag home the overall cash prize.
