Take Part in the 2018 Noosa Classic

This August marks the return of the Noosa Classic, the Sunshine Coast’s premier Gran Fondo event and one of the most prestigious cycling events in the region. Three exciting courses will be taking place for this year’s event, which will see cyclists from all over Australia gather in Noosa Heads for a challenging cycling event that will take its participants through Noosa’s most scenic sights.

Cyclists of all levels and ages are welcome to take part in the 2018 Noosa Classic, which is both a rewarding challenge and a cycling tour through one of the Sunshine Coast’s most picturesque locations. Home of Noosa Main Beach, Noosa National Park, and scattered with vast hinterland and tropical rainforest, Noosa Heads provides the perfect backdrop for cyclists. Whether you want to take on the historical Gran Fondo or just soak up the region’s picturesque views, the 2018 Noosa Classic is an exciting annual cycling event that offers both.

The 160km Maxi Classic is the Noosa Classic’s signature course, which will take its participants through Noosa’s most challenging cycling routes with all its most famous landmarks seeable along the way. For those that want to see Noosa but don’t feel ready for the full Gran Fondo, the 120km Challenge Classic is the less demanding option that still offers Noosa’s best sights. If you just want a casual cycling experience with stop-offs through Noosa’s numerous cafes, the 45km Social Classic is the Noosa Classic’s most relaxing cycling experience.

As well as the chance to take part in the 2018 Noosa Classic, spectators are also welcome to show their support and watch the cyclists go by throughout Noosa.
