Two Music Festivals to Catch This July on the Sunshine Coast

Noosa Alive!
Presented by Noosa Long Weekend, Noosa Alive! is 9 days of music, art, theatre, cabaret, dance, and film in Noosa Heads. This popular festival showcases the region’s performing arts and culture, and has become one of Australia’s premier celebrations of culture. The streets and venues of Noosa Heads will be taken over for 9 days with a huge program of family-friendly entertainment, good food, and fun vibes. This year’s program will feature a number of events including Livvy & Pete: The Songs of Olivia Newton-John and Peter Allen, Queensland Ballet Alive!, A Vaudeville Affair, Connect 3, One Act Play Festival, Disenchanted, Late Nights & After Dinner Mints, IDA Girls, Straight from the Hart, Paris Can Wait, and Fire in the Sky. This exciting program will feature something that everyone can enjoy as well as lots of regional food to get your hands on, and it’s not to be missed for locals and holidaymakers on the Sunshine Coast this winter. Nambour Winter Jazz Fest 2018
Jazz lovers are in for a treat this winter with the return of the Nambour Winter Jazz Fest. Get your dose of the Australia's best jazz bands and musicians at this exciting upcoming festival, which will take place at the C-Square in Nambour. The popular ‘Jazz Walk’ is going to be the highlight of the event, where festival-goers can find a number of jazz acts taking place in multiple venues at C-Square, featuring a diverse range of artists including Vince Jones, James Sherlock, Dan Bolton, Will Sargisson, Bruce Woodward, Me and My Chaffeur, The Walter Ego Trio, Ric Halstead, Sean Flynn, Sharny Russell, Estampa, Camaron De La Vega, De La Vega’s Vagabonds, and more. The Nambour Winter Jazz Fest will also offer jazz workshops for aspiring jazz musicians, as well as lots of places to grab a bite and a few refreshments throughout the day.
